is Founders Day, as it is known by many Scouts. It is the birthday of Robert
Baden Power, who was born in this day in 1857. Further, it is also the birthday
of his wife Olave Baden Powell, born in 1889. The Guide Association call it
Thinking Day, as they think of Robert and Olave and their contribution to
scouting and guiding.
A lot of groups run special programs around this date to celebrate Robert Baden Powell’s Birthday.
